My labor (PD 8/20/2004 EB3 from VA) has been certified on 5/14/2007 and last week received the certified docs.

So AC21 and visa recapture happened without anyone trying for it.
They increased quota of H1B, did AC21 because it was a market demand.
Now the economy is down, there are elections, jobless rate is high............ so think why will they increase h1B quota or greencard quota? What is the incentive for government?
I have always held that asking for quota increase is a bad idea and will not happen.
Visa recapture is the best bet and even that appears to be a hassle as there are many factions opposing it.

you are right, and it would be nice, however
it's clear our funds are not exactly astronomical.
so let's concentrate on building them up first along with our membership.

If my Wife's employer starts GC for her on EB2, can my case be ported / interfile to her's? She is dependent on my GC application.

I am really appalled at the responses for the facts I posted here on the forum. I apologize to all who are offended by the posts.However I strongly believe that my comments represent facts.Personally I do not believe an individual can "bash" a country. I have recently tried to explain them the EAD/485-pending concept and failed.
At the end, they waived their commission of 1%, so that I don't have to pay that amount.
The bank is GMAC.
this is a bank owned property, and there is a pre-condition that we should use their bank for the loan.
Wondering how to explain the VISA situation in a way they would understand.

makes no sense.....
EB3 India setp 2006 wasnt even current in Jun 2007....
Since LuckyPaji mentioned his brother came on investors visa, I'm thinking even he applied under INVESTOR CATEGORY-EB5..
Probably he is right that he got EAD, 140 and 485 receit notices etc...:) ..
Anyway he is not sure about his category..So it could be EB5 which was NEVER retrogressed..

i had run these numbers a while back. for sure EB2 will reach the end of 2005 this year. i just hope its done systematically so that they clear everybody with an EB2 2005 PD this year.

Between Fragoman, My Company and USCIS they sure are going to drive me nuts. I am waiting for green card for 10 years now with the same company. They are moving EB2 date and nothing gets done with EB3. On top of all these, 2 years from now, they will make all dates current which literally mean I will get my Green Card with a guy came here 10 months ago....

i have friends who had issues with suntrust, boa etc. but they gave references of people who were approved from the same banks while on adjustment of status and they were finally approved. my loan is with Amtrust and did not have any issues, i am on EAD, no H1.
