Worrying not gona give us anything. Were u worried 3 months back when the PD was 2003 something ... if we are lucky we will get it this time if not we will get the PD next time. Have faith and don’t loose ur sleep over it.

Not true. Anybody donates will get Donor status. This is started for last few days, so people who donated in last few days get this. Pappu mentioned that he is planning to cross reference this with old donations but not sure whats happening there.

Today we are here almost on the verge of disintegration as an organization. And this is because we always believed in our minds that we are nothing but a bunch of opportunists coming together for our individual cause of getting a GC. What we see today is an outcome of what we always believed. Soon EB2 will disappear, and EB3 will be left alone fighting for their GC's. And at some point of time they will also go away, all that's left will be "guests" using IV as a discussion forum. May be what I suggested can be termed as "Quixotic" but unless we aim high, we will never reach high.

There was a change in LUD for both me and my wife on 3/4/09. Then on my wife's, there were LUD ON 3/5 & now 3/6/09 also. When I open the Case Number, it shows the usual information "Current Status: Case received and pending". Any idea what this could mean. Thanks.

Ramba - you seem to be working through a body-shopper as a plain consultant with restricted veritical movement in the organizational chain which implies your underlying assuption that if same org files multiple petitions for the same person.
In 2003, they were not able to skilled developer so file my eb3...now after one completes master's degree ..experience in other companies if they find that the cannot find experienced manager and after due recrutiment process find that one of their own employee is the best fit for that job.
So now u are saying that they should not do it? That will be a company discriminating against their own employees???

Even if one member donates $100 in one calendar year to IV, it will make a huge impact in your own cause. And that just comes to 27 cents a day!!!!. Think about how much you spend on a cup of coffee or that vending machine at work or tipping at restaurants or a hair salon, folks, I am sure you can set aside 27 cents a day to help your own cause. Please donate at least $100 in a year to IV. Small or medium companies who played by the rules are doing okay. I transferred H1B couple of times between small companies during 2009-10 recession time and in each case it was approved in 2-3 days. Both the companies had a 100% record in H1-transfer and PERM approval.
I believe that small companies have a big impact too. As someone mentioned, check to see which companies filed GCs in the last 10 years....Infy, TCS or Small body shops?
